Thanks so much again for all your amazing support to bring HOPii to life! During the past week, there has been a lot of work going on, preparing for the next stages including Backerkit setup (still going on), color selections and of course, continued shipping investigations. We will be sending out the surveys very soon - most likely, color survey first followed by the main survey. We will keep you updated on the status.
We have an exciting news to share with you today. Last night, Consumer Technology Association, the creators of Consumer Electronics Show (CES), has announced that HOPii has won the 2018 CES Innovation Award! We are very honored to receive such a prestigious award and we couldn't have done it without you! Thank you so much again for all your amazing support! Let's continue making more amazing things happen together!
This past couple of weeks, I am told that Kickstarter has been collecting the pledge funds from you. Thanks so much again for making this happen! Hope everyone had an exciting weekend! For us, it was all about working on HOPii, following the World Series and trying out new beers and drinks! Now that the weekend is over, we have some exciting news for you. Let's begin!
1. Kombucha anyone? Last week, we've been using HOPii to brew something new and have successfully brewed Kombucha on HOPii! Added water, sugar, black tea and Scoby to our growler, put it in HOPii at 25oC fermentation for 10 days and we got an amazing tasting Kombucha! Yes, we did this using Brewer's Mode! For less than half the cost to buy in stores, we made 3L of the freshest Kombucha that had better ingredients (including using the more expensive organic black tea) and fresh flavorful taste. It was easy to make and lots of fun to be had. Here is a picture of it :
2. We have been working diligently on designing the Brewer's Mode's New User Interface and are happy to let you know that it came out really nice! Making it easy to use and flexible at the same time was very difficult to do, but we believe we made it happen and you will like it a lot. We are getting this reviewed with the development team and will let you know as more progress is made. Yes, Brewer's Mode is happening and making great progress! Stay tuned!
3. We are now at 53 hours left in the campaign! A bit over 2 days to go and we would love to pass the $400K mark. Only about $20K away, with your help, we can definitely make this happen! According to our calculations, if everyone can bring one friend to pledge to the project, we will be over the $400K mark! As an appreciation, for each friend that you bring, we will give you 15% of the pledge tier's amount in credit toward getting more beer kits, accessories and gears via backerkit, which for each $399 tier pledge you bring, you will get $60 in credits! In addition, you are also helping to reach the $400K stretch goal and get your specific color of HOPii exclusive only to Kickstarter backers! And, if you can help to make $400K happen in the next 53 hours left in the campaign, we will also give you the $500K reward for free, which is development of the new Manual Mode, enabling you to create your own drinks with quick and ease just like pressing a button on a blender! This mode will be extremely helpful if you want manual control of the device to get something started in seconds. Please help to bring a friend and support your project as well as get lots of rewards for free!

Check out the latest stats on the HOPii Kickstarter! We're so grateful for how far we've come and I'd love to continue all the way to $500K for this campaign! We're so close, and if we are able to get your help, we believe we can achieve this goal!!! To help make this happen, today, we have several items to share with you.
1. Today, we are announcing our new stretch goals! In the remaining days left, we have set our target finish at $500K and have aligned our stretch goals as such.
When we reach $400K, we will unlock a reward where you will get to vote for the color of HOPii and we will make this color EXCLUSIVE TO OUR BACKERS! We will not sell or ship a HOPii with this color anywhere outside of the units shipping to you, so you will be the only ones in the world who will have these HOPii!
When we reach $450K, we will unlock a reward where you will have an early access to the very first "BRAND NEW BEER KIT" that we will be releasing after we launch our product and not only that, we will give you this BRAND NEW BEER KIT FOR FREE before anyone else even sees it!
When we reach $500K, we will enable a new mode called MANUAL MODE, where this mode will enable you with the power to operate HOPii manually, similar to an easy push-button operation like your blender (but on-screen)! Push a button to raise or lower the temperature! Push a button to inject in the ingredients! Push a button to open/close the system! All under the control of your fingertip. It's a great way for quick and easy beverage creations! (With Brewer's Mode, you will have the capability to program recipes into HOPii to make a drink and Manual Mode will give you the capability to make a drink with HOPii via pressing buttons for quick and easy use)
2. We value the relationship with you and wanted to make everything post-Kickstarter so much easier for you. Today, we have partnered with Backerkit to enable this experience. As you may know, Backerkit is a leading management tool for backers and with Backer Kit, you can access your pledge, update shipping info, purchase additional HOPii's, beer kits and accessories and so much more post-Kickstarter campaign. Backerkit will allow us to stay in closer touch.
3. Again, we're so close to meeting our stretch goals and our ultimate goal of $500K and if you can take a few minutes for the following steps today, it would mean the world to us!!! Here's how you can help:
A. WRITE YOUR FRIENDS DIRECTLY - "refer a friend" : open a compose message and enter the emails to send to up to 8 of your friends! Just write a quick note about some way our project has inspired you in your life and write to the people in your life that come to mind with the link ( http://bestbeer.us ). A personal referral can make a huge difference!
B. Manage your pledge. What does it mean to manage your pledge? Once you visit the project page on Kickstarter (you must be logged in), You will see the "manage pledge" button. If we all gave $45-75 extra today then the project would be at $500,000!! This is the goal that we're trying to get to with 6 days remaining. And your help can make all the difference. If you can purchase 1 or more HOPii beer kits, it would dramatically help us to reach our goal and help HOPii become a reality.
C. Share our project AGAIN. This "share our post" link goes to a very special post of ours that has been accumulating a lot of special comments. If they view it then facebook will push it out to more people. Make sure to tag a few friends' names who you know will like the project and include our shortlink ( http://bestbeer.us ) in your post text.
D. Become an affiliate. What are affiliates? These are our inner circle of fans who want to "earn back" from their HOPii purchase price by really leaning in to helping us get the word out about the project during the last week. Do you have a social media following, your own email list, or friends who you think would love the project? Send your special link out on your channels and earn credits back (via our Referral program)! Affiliates will get a custom link and receive percentage of the payment of any funds that referred friends give to our campaign (we can generate custom trackable links for you from inside kickstarter).
