HOPii has just crossed 300 in the pledge counter!

Hello our beloved backers,
Thank you so much! Thanks to all your support, we just crossed the 300 pledges mark on Kickstarter's counter. We actually have over 1000 units pledged as many backers have pledged in groups, however, it was great to see the counter go over the 300 mark. What's more surprising is that we were able to achieve this without much marketing! We are planning to launch our marketing campaign near the end of the campaign to maximize the impact. We would appreciate your support to continue to help push and share our campaign via your SNS - let's make this happen together!
Tomorrow, we will be showcasing HOPii at the Smart Kitchen Summit. We will be pitching HOPii at the Startup Showcase, demo'ing HOPii and sampling HOPii's craft beer. If you are at the summit, please visit us and say hello. We will be sampling a new craft beer from HOPii called Wicked Monkey, which has sweet aroma and deep flavor of citrus with full body that is very easy and pleasurable to drink.

ANNOUNCEMENT : DIY Community for Brewer's Mode

Hello our valuable backers,
The response to Brewer's Mode has been overwhelming and we would like to thank you so much for supporting HOPii! Now, both $299 tiers are gone. To enhance the experience and help reach the stretch goal asap so that we can release Brewer's Mode to you, we are announcing the following :
1. DIY (Do It Yourself) community, where you can talk to other fellow HOPii DIY'ers, share recipes and experiment making new drinks together! This will bring a lot of fun to HOPii community. DIY community will be enabled along with Brewer's Mode as part of the stretch goal and will support both beginners as well as expert homebrewers alike!
2. Creation of $349 tier with limited number of rewards to help reach the stretch goal for the Brewer's Mode so that we can make it come alive asap

Thanks so much again for being an amazing supporter of bringing HOPii to life!
You have asked and we have listened. Today, we have a very special announcement to make. We have decided to release the BREWER's MODE as a stretch goal, completely free, ONLY FOR OUR KICKSTARTER BACKERS!
With Brewer’s Mode, you can ferment your own craft beer to perfection. You would be able to input your own recipe into HOPii to ferment your wort, dry hop, add flavors, natural carbonation and cold crash, then set it to the craft beer's best drinking temperature as defined by you. During the fermentation, HOPii will give you the readings of your craft beer's temperature, pressure and specific gravity information and let you change your fermentation recipe as needed. You will have a high tech fermentation device for your homebrewing needs, right on your counter-top. Now with HOPii, you have the option to drink your own craft beer as well as the amazing taste of your favorite breweries!
As we have mentioned previously, we have been using the Brewer's Mode to perform our own brew tests. Here is a picture of one of the menus that we currently have on HOPii’s Brewer’s Mode :
The interface is quite complex at the moment, but do not worry. We will be redesigning and implementing a completely new UI for you so that when you get your HOPii units, you will have a very easy experience to brew your own, the way HOPii experience is meant to be!

Hello our valuable backers,
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend! Here in San Jose, the weather is beautiful and we have been drinking amazing tasting HOPii-made craft beer while watching the MLB playoffs. The craft beer that we have been drinking is called White Rabbit, a new kind of craft beer that really does not have a category. And, it really tasted amazing - freshest, refreshing, deep flavors and aroma of hops and no bitterness.
This week, we will be at the Smart Kitchen Summit in Seattle, where we have been selected as one of top 15 startups and will be competing as well as showcasing HOPii and doing taste testing to attendees. If you are attending the show, please visit our booth during the Startup Showcase on October 10th and say hello (and check out HOPii and craft beer made from HOPii)!
