7 Days To Go at Kickstarter, a Most Amazing Beer and New Podcast!

Hello our valuable backers,
Wow, the time has flown by and we are finally at our 7-days-left point! When we first started our campaign, we never thought that this day would come and it's already finally here. We will put all our efforts to make sure that we make this final week a very successful run to the finish.
Yesterday, our brewmaster Chris has finally made his Thrust Punch, a craft beer in a category of its own, that tastes so refreshing, so thirst-quenching, so flavorful and aromatic, that has no alcohol after-taste whatsoever, but has the 'right' ABV to make you feel extremely happy. On my first sip, I already knew that I was in heaven. It's a taste that will make me realize why I love craft beer so much... mesmerizing is the word that came to my mind at the time. It was the perfect drink to be had while watching the world series.
The Hardware Entrepreneur site has published a podcast where our CEO, Jong, was interviewed. Balint, owner of the site, is someone whom Jong has met at IFA when he came to HAX's (our accelerator) booth to see HOPii. He loved it, including the design, the features and the story and had asked about doing a podcast on HOPii which we agreed. The podcast session was a lot of fun - Balint was amazing, very experienced and asked a lot of great questions. You can listen to the podcast here :

Thanks so much for joining our facebook live even yesterday! We had a successful event, where we had many people joining and had many questions answered. Initially planned for 30 minutes, we went over our time to 45 minutes as there were many (and great) questions asked by the attendees. Domestic Shipping Rate Updates

Hello our valued backers,
Wow, the week has gone by very quickly and we are now at 11-days-left mark. It feels like yesterday when we first started our campaign.. The time flies really quickly.
During this time, we have been working very hard on several things, among which one was to make Brewer's Mode happen and the other was to reduce the shipping prices. During our last update, we announced making Brewer's Mode a standard feature by removing the stretch goal, which was praised by so many people.
Today, we would like to announce that we have been able to reduce the US domestic shipping rates by $20, from $69 to $49! We are also working on the same for the international rates (we have several great ideas on how to reduce the international rates) as well as continuing to work on reducing the US domestic rates. We have been able to achieve this negotiation by using our Kickstarter campaign success and will be utilizing our continued sales numbers until the very last minute of shipping your units, so that we can get you the best deal possible. As we can negotiate lower shipping prices with bigger volume, more sales that we are able to make happen, cheaper rates that we will be able to negotiate and achieve. We will continue to update you with more information as they happen. Stay tuned! (Note: as Kickstarter does not allow updating the pledge options in the middle of the campaign, the new rate information won't be updated in the pledge window, but will be reflected when we ship the units to you)

Dear HOPii Kickstarter Family:
Thank you so much from the entire HOPii team for your support and backing thus far. Our HOPii campaign is almost at $400,000 in funding and is over 750% funded! We could not have reached these heights without your support, so thank you once again. We have some very excited updates for you all today!
Our team has been doing a lot of research and outreach in trying to figure out how we can bring “Brewers mode” to everyone right now vs at the $500,000 stretch goal. We are very glad to say that we have found a way to insert this feature without hitting the $500,000 mark! Brewers mode is now available to everyone without stretch goal! We will send more information on this as the campaign progresses.
Kickstarter just selected us as their Featured Project of the Day in the Technology category on Kickstarter today! We are beyond honored to get this mention from Kickstarter and will continue to do whatever we can to support and engage with the Kickstarter community!
We will be hosting our Facebook LIVE Product Demo next Monday at 2pm PST. Like us on Facebook, and come join us LIVE next Monday for our Facebook LIVE Demo. Our Founder, Jong, will be doing a product demo and going over how to use HOPii while answering all of your questions in real time! We are looking forward to having you all attend our demo via Facebook. We will then do a Kickstarter LIVE demo later in the campaign just for our backers!
With 2 weeks left in our campaign, we would really appreciate it if you all, our amazing backer community, could help spread the word about HOPii. Smart Kitchen Show was a HUGE SUCCESS!

Hello our valuable backers,
We just drove back from Seattle last night after showcasing HOPii at the Smart Kitchen Summit. The event was amazing and there were lots of people from all over the world attending the show. HOPii was selected as one of the top 15 startups to showcase our product at the show and the response was phenomenal! We presented HOPii at the center stage, showcased the device at the main floor and sampled our craft beers to the attendees. During the 1.5 hours of showcase time that we had, we had over 200 people come to see HOPii, where everyone were so impressed to see our product! Everyone loved our concept, the design, the size, the features, the easiness, and most importantly, how amazing the beer tasted! We had prepared 200 glasses of HOPii's Wicked Monkey craft beer to sample and we ran out before the showcase time ended! We observed people being 'surprised' by how fresh and amazing the beer tasted and their eyes opening wide, looking at the beer after having that first sip and saying, 'Wow! This beer tastes amazing!' People loved the taste of HOPii's beer and so many people stayed at our booth for over 30 minutes (out of 1.5 hours that they had to look at every startup booths) to chat with us, learn more about HOPii, look at the device, enjoy the beer, discuss opportunities and so much more. We wanted to take some pictures to show you just how many people attended our booth (we were surrounded by people constantly during the 1.5 hours of showcase), but were so busy with serving over 200 people who visited our booth that only picture that we were able to take was the picture of our booth, which we took before the start of the showcase. We also had great folks from our (sort of) competitor company (or, more I consider them as a partner to grow the market together), who visited us to have great conversations about HOPii and the beer industry. Overall, the experience and the exposure was amazing!
